The Southeast Florida TRN's mission is to serve those children and adults who have suffered from a natural or man-made disastrous event.  We will provide, pro bono, up to five 90-minute sessions to individuals using early EMDR intervention protocols and, if appropriate, the full eight-phase protocol.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) is a powerful psychotherapy originally developed to treat trauma and PTSD.  It has been practiced around the world for the past 25 years and is an accepted treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder by the American Psychiatric Association, Veterans Administration, Department of Defense, World Health Organization, and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
